After several iterations of the mid - century concept, Thom Browne informed us that they had some prebuilt brushed aluminum frames that they wanted us to use for the walls. Since the modules were already in existence we were tasked with retrofitting the modules to fit in our existing footprint. The main challenge was to fit as many of these modules in while being able to communicate how the existing site walls were going to interface with the built walls.
This visualization translates Thom Browne’s structured minimalism into a carefully composed retail environment. The symmetrical placement of mannequins creates a sense of discipline and order, while the interplay of reflective surfaces and linear textures establishes depth and spatial rhythm. A restrained monochrome palette heightens the contrast between materiality and form, reinforcing the brand’s signature aesthetic of precision and control.
